Curryville Indian Restaurant began in 2005 by Pervez & Ambreen Burney with just one goal in mind.
To be the best Indian Restaurant in Brisbane.
Not the biggest. Just the best. The battle continues.
From the time you walk in, you will be aware of the amazing aromas emanating from the kitchen which will make you a little bit hungrier ( we hope ) ……. The aroma will be fresh, light and not over bearing. Which is a good thing.
With your first bite, hopefully you will notice a difference as the full flavours hit you, a little bit longer and you will realize we are not your typical Indian restaurant. There is a difference. But what?
Finally when you get up to leave, this is where the cycle comes full circle, you may not realize it but while you may be stuffed, you don’t have the
“ full, slightly yucky feeling ” after your typical Indian meal.
Instead you feel pretty good. Full, but light and hopefully happy.
And if you have any leftovers, you might want to take them home for lunch. Believe me, there is NOTHING better than last nights curry for lunch next day – especially, if like us you have nothing else prepared and are too darned lazy to make anything.
Crank up that microwave and boy, there are those aromas again ….
Hmmmm …. So what’s the difference?
Well for one, we make a lot of our stuff fresh. Yes, I know you’ve heard this mantra before, but it’s the truth. Nothing beats freshness.
Next up is our blend of spices and sauces. Our curries contain an average of 18 – 27 spices. I tend to focus more on lighter spices and use a very light hand in the heavier, stronger spices. This is where the magic comes in ….knowing how much to use and when is key – a bit complicated and a huge headache.
THIS is THE difference. Finally the “ balance ”. that’s the magic!
( Don’t ask )
But if it were easy then I guess everyone would be doing it.
